About Us

Midwest Chai is:

Cozy comfort in every cup.

Midwest Chai was born from a love of handcrafted flavor, real ingredients, and a longing for something warm, nostalgic, and uniquely comforting that was simple to make.

We’re a Midwest-based, family-run business with a deep appreciation for slowing down and savoring life’s quiet moments. We believe that a good cup of tea can do more than warm your hands — it can tell a story, spark a memory, and bring people together. Our founder is a dad of seven girls, a small business owner, and a relentless optimist on a mission to blend comfort, culture, and connection into every jar.

What started as a passion for chai from an extended volunteering trip in India has grown into a handcrafted tea powder brand built on bold flavors, family roots, and real hustle. From vendor markets to wholesale shelves, Midwest Chai is more than a product — it’s a Midwest-made invitation to slow down, sip deeply, and share something meaningful.

We’re not backed by investors or buzzwords — just grit, good ingredients, and a goal to build a sustainable business that supports our family and uplifts yours.

🌿 What We Believe In

  • Comfort Over Hype – We’re not chasing trends. We’re crafting rituals.
  • Real Ingredients – No artificial flavors or fillers. Just tea, herbs, and spices you can pronounce.
  • Small Batches, Big Heart – Each jar is blended by hand in small quantities, so you get fresh, flavorful chai every time.

🫖 What Makes Our Chai Different?

Our chai isn’t dusty, bitter, or overly sweet like many mass-produced brands. We’ve carefully developed each recipe — from our bold Masala to our floral Lavender to our cozy Pfeffernüsse — to bring depth, balance, and warmth. Each jar makes up to 90 cups, and every blend is caffeine-labeled so you can sip with confidence.

💛 From Our Family to Yours

Whether you’re here for your next cozy ritual, looking for a gift, or curious about wholesale for your shop — welcome. We’re so glad you’re here.

Warmly,

The Midwest Chai Family
